At Merci, we start by defining your target audience and analyzing your customers, carefully working out everything from the layout to the distribution method so that the people you want to reach actually pick up and read your flyer or pamphlet—and only then do we begin designing.
Appearance, such as design and photography, comes later. If your focus is on "attracting customers" and "increasing sales," the structure and strategy matter most (of course, professional designers handle the design as well, so you can leave that to us with complete confidence).
Many printing companies and designers focus on looks, but at Merci we firmly establish the structure and strategy first, which is how we create flyers and pamphlets that deliver a high return on investment.
It also eliminates unnecessary revision requests and extra work, so the finished piece is ready sooner and you see results faster.
FEATURE 02
Printing companies earn their revenue by printing your data rather than by creating the flyer or pamphlet data itself.
Merci is not a printing company, so we are more than happy to create the data alone, without printing. "We already have a printer we always use and want to send it there," "We only need a small run, so we'd like to print it ourselves"—if that sounds like you, feel free to contact Merci for data creation only.
FEATURE 03
To attract more customers, printed materials such as flyers and pamphlets must work hand in hand with your website.
However, many businesses order their printed materials from a printing company and their website from a web production company, so even when they launch a campaign or feature a headline product, the flyer and the website aren't properly aligned—and interested customers slip away. We see this happen all too often.
For example, a flyer or pamphlet says "Search for ○○ for details!" but searching brings up no matching website; or the campaign details appear on both the flyer and the website, but the designs aren't consistent, making it hard to know where to look.
Of course, you can order printed materials from a printing company and your website from a web production company, but to get those two working together, you'll have to act as the coordinator yourself (or you could ask an advertising professional such as an agency to handle the direction...).

Production Process
PHASE 01
Inquiry & consultationFirst, please contact us by phone or e-mail. After we briefly confirm the production schedule and content, our director will provide you with a quotation.
PHASE 02
Quotation & meetingOnce you have reviewed the quotation and are satisfied with it, we treat it as a formal order and begin production. Please have the information to be featured and any necessary data such as images ready for the meeting, where we will conduct a thorough consultation covering the purpose and intended use of the flyer, your corporate colors, design direction and more.
PHASE 03
Design productionWe proceed with the design based on what we discussed in your meeting. Please allow roughly 10 days to 2 weeks from your order until we submit the first design proof.
PHASE 04
Proofreading the designAfter the first proof is submitted, we revise the draft repeatedly while listening to your requests.
As a rule, revisions are limited to three proofs (first proof – second proof – third proof – proofing complete). Please note that revisions beyond the third proof may incur additional charges.
PHASE 05
Delivery & print arrangementsOnce you have reviewed every detail of the design and text and given us the instruction that proofing is complete (revision work finished), we will proceed to data delivery or the printing process.
The schedule from printing to delivery varies depending on the print run, paper stock, finishing and other factors.
