The iPhone 8, with pre-orders starting on the 15th of this month and going on sale on the 25th.

Here's a quick rundown of its features.

The camera has become excellent too,

but what I personally find most exciting is wireless charging!

By changing the back of the body from metal to durable glass, wireless charging has been made possible.

And the body is surrounded by a frame made of the same grade of aluminum used in the aerospace industry.

With the AirPower mat used for charging, you can charge your iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods simply by placing them on the mat.

The size hasn't changed much, but the CPU is also outstanding, delivering up to 70% faster performance than the "A10 Fusion" chip in the iPhone 7.

I think it's highly recommended for anyone whose phone slows down with online games and the like.

It comes in Space Gray, Silver and Gold.

This time there's apparently no Jet Black or Rose Gold, but a new color called Blush Gold is said to be on the way.

I switched to a red iPhone last time, so I'll be sitting this one out, but hearing that the portrait feature on the iPhone 8 Plus has evolved makes me want one…!
