Once you've made an introductory video for your product or service, upload it to the video-sharing site YouTube so that as many people as possible can see it.
And if you're able to update your website or mobile site yourself, try embedding the video there as well.

Here are the steps to follow after uploading your video to YouTube, in order.

1. Open the playback screen of the video you want to embed on your website or mobile site

2. Click the "Share" button

Scroll down a little from the playback screen and you'll find the menu items "Add to," "Share" and "More." Click "Share" among these.
Several icons and a URL will then appear.

3. Select "Embed" and copy the code

Above the icons you'll find the menu items "Share," "Embed" and "Email."
When you've just opened "Share," the word "Share" is underlined in red, but go ahead and select "Embed."

An embed code containing the video's URL will then appear. Copy it.

4. Paste it where you want it on your website or mobile site

All that's left is to paste the copied embed code where you want it on your website or mobile site, and you're done.

Incidentally, if you click "Show more" below the embed code, you can also configure detailed settings for the embedded video.
You can change the size of the embedded video, set whether related videos play, and so on, so if you want to fine-tune the settings, do that first and then copy the embed code.

We're often asked, "Won't embedding a video make my website or mobile site slow?" But with this method the video itself is stored on YouTube and you're only pasting in the code to view it, so your website or mobile site itself won't become heavy (though it may take a little longer to load).
