Corporate Site

Overview
We had the pleasure of helping build the website for "e-Garden," an exterior design specialist in dry gardens and rock gardens that newly opened in Irino-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City in October 2024.
President Shinma also runs a company handling home renovation work such as exterior wall painting and roof repairs, and this new venture is the realization of his long-held desire to spread the appeal of dry gardens and rock gardens.
Dry gardens and rock gardens are a style of gardening that uses tropical plants such as cacti along with rocks and stones.
They have been attracting attention in recent years for their benefits, including a stylish, urban atmosphere and the fact that they require little day-to-day maintenance such as watering. However, they are still not widely known, and there are said to be "almost no" businesses operating as specialist stores in the Tokai region.
Regarding the budget for the website production, we proposed making use of Shizuoka Prefecture's "Small Business Management Capability Improvement Subsidy." With President Shinma's agreement, we were involved from the stage of drawing up the business plan required for the subsidy application. As a result, the application was successfully approved, and the burden of the production costs was reduced.
Background to the Project
Since an opening event was planned to coincide with the launch of the new showroom, we aimed to publish the site as early as possible in order to spread the word.
As the schedule ran in parallel with the showroom construction, we sorted the content into "content to be published before the showroom opening" and "content to be published after the opening," and proceeded with production accordingly.
Points We Focused On During Production
In taking on this project, we focused on two points: "creating a business plan that would be approved for the subsidy" and "building a website in line with the world view e-Garden envisioned."
Creating a business plan that would be approved for the subsidy
To make use of a subsidy, you must first prepare a business plan, compile it into an application form, submit it, and pass the screening. Business plans are generally written by identifying current management issues and showing how they can be resolved through initiatives using the subsidy. However, e-Garden was at the phase of launching an entirely new business this time, so a different approach was needed.
We therefore decided to highlight the novelty of the concept as a strength, addressing the questions "What are dry gardens and rock gardens?" and "What is their market potential?"—things that are not yet generally known.
On that basis, we calculated the business model and revenue targets, including the reasoning behind them. While the e-Garden showroom mainly retails plants, we mapped out the business model for converting customers who visit the showroom into orders for exterior construction work—the core source of revenue—and incorporated this into the business plan.
As mentioned above, the application was successfully approved.
Building a website in line with the world view e-Garden envisioned
President Shinma himself produced everything, starting with the showroom. Since the brand image had been consistent and clear in his mind from the very inception of the project, we prepared several designs to bring the site as close to that image as possible, and worked toward completion by having him select from our proposals and give us revision instructions.
In terms of functionality, we implemented a posting feature so that after completion e-Garden can publish case studies of their exterior construction work themselves.
