Back-end development and operation of web services
Database design and management
API design and development
Server setup and maintenance
Solving technical issues and proposing improvements within projects

People with hands-on experience as a back-end engineer

[Desired Skills]
Hands-on experience in back-end development (3+ years preferred)
Experience with one of the following frameworks: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, PHP, Laravel, etc.
Experience designing and operating databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Experience using cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus

Reason for Hiring

As our business expands, we are recruiting a back-end engineer.

Merci Ltd., located in Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu City, produces websites, web advertising, TV commercials, videos, brochures, posters and other advertising materials, mainly for clients in western Shizuoka Prefecture. Along with our rapid business expansion, the number of new projects is increasing. To further strengthen our technical foundation and deliver the best possible solutions to our clients, we are looking for a back-end engineer.

About Our Company

Merci Ltd.

Our office is located in Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu (formerly Higashi Ward). With around 20 years of experience, we are the longest-established company of our kind in the region. We focus mainly on website production, video production and advertising management. Our office staff consists of 4 men and 6 women, and including remote employees and outside partners, about 18 people are active on our team. If you would like to get a feel for our workplace atmosphere, you are welcome to visit us, so please get in touch. It's a small office, so there may not be that much to see (laughs).
